I love Bird cages
&

I love lighthouses.
I took this picture of the Pigeon Point Lighthouse last summer along the Northern California Coast.

Here is my version of a lighthouse. I know a little far fetched but it still reminds me of one

It is a bird cage made from an old wash bucket
The base is made from the bucket

The top is the lid

My daughter Bethany is really the one who fell in love with this.

I love the bluish gray color!

I feel like I have a piece of the coast in my home!

You all have read Romantic Homes right? Well I would like to congratulate two girls, whose blogs I adore, that were featured in Romantic Homes.

The name of these two blogs are Mimi Charmante & Fabulously French . When I learned about this from Mimi Charmante's blog, I was so excited I could hardly wait to get out the door to go & buy Romantic Homes.
I took pictures of the Romantic Homes Magazine for you to see~in case you haven't already seen the March issue.

You may not be jetting off to France anytime soon, but you can smell the fresh coffee brewing at this blog spot. Even the design, with its vintage textures and Old World type, makes you feel as if you were walking along the Rive Gauche.
Her blog is truly beautiful & I know that I am excited to have found her. She also has a great online store called Fabulously French
